                (Johnstown, Pa.): Clarion's Mackenzie Biggs had 16 kills and 13 blocks, Gabrielle Olson had 11 kills and 12 blocks, Kaley Pittsely notched 43 assists and Morgan Seybold added 25 digs as the Golden Eagles upset #1 PSAC-East seed Pitt-Johnstown in a thrilling 3-2 – five set win at the Sports Center on Friday night.
 
                Clarion will now play Shippensburg in the PSAC Championship finals at UPJ on Saturday night at 7pm.
 
                Clarion is now 21-15 overall, while UPJ is 29-6.
 
                Clarion lost the first set 25-21, came back and won the next two by scores of 25-23, and 25-20, then lost the fourth set 25-21, setting up the fifth and final set. Clarion won that set going away by a 15-7 score.
 
                In that fifth set Clarion jumped out to an 11-1 lead and never looked back. Mackenzie Biggs executed four big blocks in the first 8 points to give the Eagles an 8-1 lead. Marissa Robertson and Biggs followed with kills for a 10-1 lead. Abbey Cox posted the game-winning kill on an assist from Kaley Pittsley and the Eagles stormed the court.
 
                Marissa Robertson added 8 kills and 14 digs, while Catherine Ferragonio had 12 digs.
 
                The match against UPJ was almost identical to the one Clarion won back on Oct. 16 at UPJ – when Clarion won a 3-2 thriller, winning the fifth set by a 15-11 margin.
 
                Clarion, under 9th year head coach Jen Mills, last won the PSAC title in 2010 and will play Shippensburg on Saturday night. The two teams played on Oct. 17 at Shippensburg with the Raiders winning 3-0.
