CLARION LOSES DH TO COLUMBIA-UNION
(Clarion, Pa.): The 2008 Clarion University baseball team closed its season today at Memorial Stadium with a doubleheader loss to Columbia Union. The Golden Eagles lost game one by an 8-5 margin, and game two by a 14-3 final score. In game one John Hynes was the starter and loser for the Golden Eagles, pitching 3 innings while giving up 7 runs on 8 hits. He was relieved by Tyler Ross who tossed four innings and yielded only 1 run on 1 hit. [+]
