Tippin Gymnasium from 1pm-4pm. The Mets' superb, young leadoff man, Jose Reyes, has just reached base in the top of the first off the great Randy Johnson, and all Guy Conti ('65), normally the Mets bullpen coach, can think of to tell Reyes is "don't get picked off." [+]![]() BERKES, ROSSI NAMED ALL-PSAC-WEST LOCK HAVEN - Clarion University utility player Scott Berkes was a first-team All-PSAC-West selection, while first baseman Matt Rossi is a second-team choice in voting by the league's coaches. Berkes, a freshman from Berwick, played both second base and third base for the Golden Eagles while also pitching in eight games with three starts. He hit a team-best .387 (36-93), which ranks eighth in the PSAC-West, with four doubles, seven RBIs and 12 runs scored. On the mound, he had a 6.50 ERA in 18 innings of work while going 0-3 and recording 15 strikeouts.
