CLARION - The Clarion University athletic department announced Tuesday that Saturday's basketball games vs. IUP will be a "White Out Tippin" event with all Golden Eagle fans encouraged to wear something white to the games. The women's game starts at 6 p.m. followed by the men's game at 8 p.m. "We want everyone to wear white Saturday night," Clarion athletic director Dave Katis said. "These are two big PSAC-West games against one of our top rivals, so we want to fill Tippin Gym and offer our teams the best home-court advantage possible." The men's contest features the top two teams in the PSAC-West with IUP currently sitting at 6-0 in the West going into a game Wednesday with Edinboro while Clarion is at 5-1 heading into a game Wednesday at Lock Haven. The women's game features a Clarion team that is 10-9 going into Wednesday's game at Lock Haven and an IUP team that is 11-7 heading into Wednesday's game with Edinboro. Admission to the game is free for Clarion University students, faculty and staff with an ID card and $5 for adults and $3 for students without ID cards. |
