DAVE DURISH - Offensive Coordinator Dave Durish, 39, who has seven years coaching experience with the Golden Eagles, begins his third season as the team's Offensive Coordinator and offensive line coach. The offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Clarion in 1997 and 1998, he also was a G.A. coach with the Eagles from 1993-95. As a graduate assistant Dave coached running backs, tight ends and receivers. He earned his Masters Degree from Clarion in Education in 1995. Gaining coaching experience at all levels and on both sides of the ball, Durish came back to Clarion from NCAA Div.I-AA Georgia Southern where he was the defensive backs coach and academic coordinator in 2005. Prior to that he was the quality control and assistant strength coach at NCAA Division I Illinois from August 2004 to June 2005. Other experiences include Millikin University from June 2000 to June 2004. At Millikin Dave was defensive line coach, strength and conditioning coordinator and assistant athletic director. He also was the defensive line coach at Case Western in 1999, plus was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Ohio Wesleyan in 1996. A native of Ambridge, Pa., Dave is a 1987 grad of Ambridge High and a 1991 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dave is married to Tracy Barnett, a native of nearby Dayton and a former volleyball star with the Eagles. The couple have a daughter Natalie. |
