CLARION NOTES: There was one individual NCAA qualifying spot on the line ... Both the East Regional and the Northeast Regional are combined at one site and called a "Super" Regional ... Jared Schmader ended the day tied with Brian Mackey of Dominican College, who also finished with a 222 and won the Northesat Regional... As a matter of fact, Mackey chipped in on 18 for birdie to finish at 222... Mackey and Schmader, the two champions, played off for the NCAA Automatic Qualifying Playoff spot - and played #9 - Mackey posted a bogey 5 and Schmader a 7, so Mackey will go to the NCAA's on May 14-17 in Houston, Texas. |
