 EAGLES WITHDRAW FROM WEEKEND MEET The Clarion University Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams will not swim this weekend against Gannon, Edinboro and Ashland. The meet was originally scheduled to take place at Warren Harding High School, but the meet has since been moved to Ashland University and head coach Mark VanDyke announced today that Clarion would not compete on Saturday. The Golden Eagles will next be in action on Saturday, January 30th when Clarion hosts IUP. Meet time is 1pm. [+] MEN FIFTH AT ZIPPY INVITE (Akron, Ohio): The Clarion Men's Swimming and Diving team finished fifth at the Zippy Invitational, held at the Ocasek Natatorium and hosted by Akron University from Friday through Sunday. The ten team field had Xavier first with 1,578.5 points, Buffalo second with 1,327.5 points, St. Bonaventure third with 1,212.5, Duquesne fourth at 1,148 and Clarion fifth with 1,098.5. [+] EAGLES THIRD AT ZIPPY INVITE ON SAT. (Akron, Ohio): The Clarion Men's Swimming and Diving team is currently in third place at the Zippy Invitational, held at the Ocasek Natatorium and hosted by Akron University. The ten team field shows Xavier in first with 1,102.5 points, followed by second place Buffalo with 951, Clarion is third with 860.5 and St. Bonaventure fourth with 839.5 points. [+]
