         <description><![CDATA[Clarion's NCAA Division I Wrestling team is ready for its "second season" as the Golden Eagles prepare to compete in the 35th annual EWL (Eastern Wrestling League) Championships.<p>The 2010 EWL's will be hosted at West Virginia University's Coliseum on Sunday, March 7th. Session 1 is set for 10am and will feature quarterfinal action, followed by semi-finals and Round 1 consolations. Session 2 starts at 5pm and will have the consolation semi's, followed at 7pm by Session 3, the championship finals and matches for third and fifth places.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[(Clarion, Pa.): Clarion seniors Greg Lewis (New Providence) and Hadley Harrison (McKean) had big wins and the Golden Eagles won 8 of 10 bouts as Clarion defeated Lock Haven 33-9 in an NCAA Div. I Wrestling dual meet on Friday night.<p>Held at Waldo S.Tippin Gymnasium, Clarion finished the season with an 8-8 dual meet record and a 4-2 mark in the Eastern Wrestling League. Lock Haven dropped to 2-9 overall and 1-5 in the EWL.</p><p>Lewis raised his season record to 16-10 overall and 10-3 at 141-pounds as he pinned Justin Louden at 2:27 of the match with a cradle. Harrison, ranked #15 in the country at 157, scored a 10-2 major decision over Seth Creasy. The win puts Harrison at 32-7 on the season and gives him a 96-52 career record.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Clarion University senior 157-pound wrestler Hadley Harrison (McKean - General McLane) was named today as the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) and EWL (Eastern Wrestling League) "Wrestler of the Week" for his performances last week for the Golden Eagles.<p>Harrison, rated #17 in the country, had an impressive 3-0 week which raised his season record to 31-7, while pushing his career win total to 95, just five wins short of the coveted 100-win plateau. His wins also helped Clarion to impressive wins over North Carolina (25-19) and Cleveland State (49-0) on Saturday night, along with a 28-8 loss to #18 rated Pitt on Thursday.</p>]]></description>
