[+]  SUWALA IS PSAC-WEST POW LOCK HAVEN - For the second time this season, Clarion University senior guard Lizzie Suwala (Ford City/Ford City) is the PSAC-West Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Suwala earned the honors after posting back-to-back 28-point games while helping the Golden Eagles split a pair of contests during the week. In fact, Suwala has had three consecutive 28-point contests and is believed to be the first Clarion women's player to score 25 or more points in three consecutive games. [+]SUWALA SCORES 28 AGAIN BUT EAGLES FALL TO IUP BY ONE CLARION - Kierstin Filla's layup with seven seconds left ruined Lizzie Suwala's third straight 28-point game and lifted IUP to an 84-83 win over Clarion Sunday afternoon at Clarion's Tippin Gym. Clarion (11-10 overall, 2-6 PSAC-West) had three chances to win the game in the final three seconds but layup attempts by Suwala, Rachel Graeff and Janelle Zabresky among flying bodies in the paint all rolled off the rim.
