CLARION - "Blizzard II - Return of the White Out" hits Tippin Gym Wednesday night when California comes to town to take on the Clarion Golden Eagles. The women's game starts at 6 p.m. followed by the men's game at 8 p.m. "We had such great success with the White Out against IUP over the weekend that we wanted to do it again Wednesday vs. California," Clarion athletic director Dave Katis said. "This is another big game for our teams, and we are encouraging our fans to come out, wear white, have fun and help make Tippin Gym the best home-court advantage in the PSAC." Clarion's men's team enters Wednesday's contest in a tie for first place in the PSAC-West with a 7-1 conference mark and a 15-6 overall record. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 71-62 win over No. 6 IUP Sunday at Tippin. The Golden Eagle women's squad enters the game at 11-10 overall and 2-6 in the PSAC-West after a gut-wrenching 84-83 loss to IUP Sunday. Clarion, though, is still just two games back of a playoff spot in the PSAC-West. Students, faculty and staff get in free with their Clarion ID cards. Admission for adults without ID cards is $5 while students without ID cards get in for $3. |
