![]() ROB EATON NAMED WOMEN'S SOCCER COACH Rob Eaton, 45, a native of England who has an extensive background in soccer as a player, coach and clinician, was named today as the Women's Soccer coach at Clarion University, it was announced by Athletic Director Dave Katis. Eaton replaces Christina "Nina" Alonzo, who stepped down as head coach October 3rd, 2009 to accept a position at Midwestern State University (Tx.). The founder and owner of the "Soccer Training Network", a developmental youth soccer academy for the last eight years located in Beech Creek, Pa., Eaton has 13 years of collegiate head coaching experience including stints at California University (Pa), Lycoming College, Methodist University and Lock Haven University between 1989 and 2001. Sam Regney started the scoring for Cal at 10:33 on an unassisted tally. Jodi McDonald scored at 40:08 on a pass by Kayla Fransko.
