(CLARION, PA.): Jill Miller's goal at 49:47 led the Golden Eagles to a 1-0 victory over Gannon today at Memorial Stadium. Clarion raised its overall record to 4-4-2 with the victory. Miller, a freshman from Irwin (Norwin HS), scored the unassisted goal only 4:47 into the second half and the Golden Eagle defense stifled Gannon the rest of the way. Jessica Reed made 6 saves and registered the shutout win. Clarion hosts Lock Haven tomorrow night at Memorial Stadium with the start time set for 6pm. |
