(CLARION, PA.): Clarion University's Women's Soccer team posted a key PSAC-West win tonight defeating IUP 1-0 at Memorial Stadium. Clarion upped its overall record to 4-10-3 on the season and now stands at 3-6-1 in the PSAC-West. The game's only goal came at 31:10 when Alyssa Jacobs (So. Gettysburg) scored to give Clarion a 1-0 lead. Ashley Downs got an assist on the goal. Clarion goalie Jessica Reed made 7 saves in posting the shutout. It was her fifth shuout of the season. Clarion concludes its regular season on October 26th when the Golden Eagles host Shippensburg at 5pm. |
