Sept. 6, 2008 ERIE- Caitlin Borden set up Rachael Schmitz for a goal with just 1:12 left to rally the Golden Eagles to a 1-1 tie at Mercyhurst in a PSAC-West match-up. After playing a scoreless first half Sarah Powell opened the scoring for Mercyhurst with a goal assisted by Taylor Hilinski at the 55:32 mark. Jenna Kulik was in net for the Golden Eagles making eight saves. Clarion is now 1-2-1 overall (0-1-1 PSAC-W). They return to action 7p.m. Tuesday when they host Gannon at Memorial Stadium. |
