Sept. 9, 2008 CLARION- The Golden Eagle women's soccer team dropped a tough decision to visiting Gannon 2-0. Amanda Sharbaugh scored just 5:33 into the game assisted by Chantelle Both, giving Gannon a 1-0 lead. Katy Lynn would add an unassisted tally at 40:56 to set the final at 2-0. Jenna Kulik was in goal for the Golden Eagles making 12 saves. Rachel Schmitz had two shots for the Golden Eagles. Clarion falls to 1-3-1 overall (0-2-1 PSAC-West) and return to action at 11 a.m. Saturday hosting California. |
