Sept. 17, 2008 CLARION- Clarion University Women's Soccer team fell 3-1 to Lock Haven despite Jill Miller picking up her fifth goal of the season. Miller's goal came 18:53 on a corner kick from Caitlin Borden to make the score 2-1. The Lock Haven goals were scored by Jessie Cox at 5:33 and Brianna Orth at 14:45, both of those goals being unassisted. Orth would add an insurance goal at 46:36 to make the final 3-1. Jenna Kulik picked up the loss for Clarion making two saves. Clarion falls to 1-4-2 overall (0-3-2 PSAC-West) and will return to action 1 p.m. Saturday at Clarion's Memorial Stadium against Bloomsburg |
