Oct. 29, 2008 CLARION- Clarion University's Women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 match to visiting IUP Wednesday in PSAC-West play. Clarion was able to muster 10 shots but was unable to find the back of the net. Heather Robbins opened the scoring at 9:39 with an unassisted goal that would stake IUP to a 1-0 halftime lead. Sarah Romasco would increase the lead with an unassisted goal at 59:16. Robbins would round out the scoring with another unassisted goal at 89:55 to set the final at 3-0. Jenna Kulik picked made six saves in net for the Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles fall to 3-12-3 overall (0-10-3 PSAC-West) and close out their season Saturday at Memorial Stadium when they host Edinboro. |
