(CLARION, PA.): Clarion University's Women's Soccer team posted two players on the All PSAC-West team today as Rebecca Waterhouse (So. Girard) and Jessica Reed (Sr. McClure) were named to the team. Waterhouse, a sophomore, mid-fielder and defensive specialist, played in all 19 games for the Golden Eagles. Leading the defense she helped the Eagles post 5 shutouts and held opponets to only 1 goal in three other games. It is the second consecutive season that Waterhouse has been named to the PSAC-West second team. She is the daughter of Carl and Jean Waterhouse and is an Elementary Education major at Clarion. Reed, a senior goalie at Clarion, posted 5 shutouts this season and posted a record of 5-10-3. She had a goals against average of 1.72. Jessica also was a second team PSAC-West selection in 2006. She had a career record of 13-23-3 at Clarion. A Biology/Pre-Vet major at Clarion, she is the daughter of Mark and Danielle Reed. |
