![]() COOK 1ST TEAM PSAC-CENTRAL LOCK HAVEN - After putting in one of the top offensive seasons at Clarion in the last decade, Golden Eagle sophomore center fielder Carlie Cook is a first-team All-PSAC-Central outfield selection in voting by the league's coaches. Cook (Brookville/Brookville) is Clarion's first first-team selection since April Shannon was a first-team PSAC-West pitcher in 2004 and the first Golden Eagle outfielder to earn first-team honors since Stephanie Hoffman was first-team PSAC-West in 1996. [+]![]() CLARION CLOSES SEASON AT GANNON ERIE - The Clarion University softball team saw its season come to a close with two Gannon wins Sunday afternoon at Gannon. The Golden Knights took Game One 9-1 in five innings from the Golden Eagles and then won Game Two 11-0 also in five innings. [+]![]() LAMISON, VEVERS HONORED ON SR. DAY CLARION - The Clarion University softball team honored senior pitchers Lindsday Vevers and Caitlin Lamison with a Senior Day presentation before the Golden Eagles doubleheader with visiting IUP Saturday afternoon, and both seniors turned in good pitching performances but it wasn't enough to lift Clarion to victory. IUP got a sixth-inning home run in Game One to break a 1-1 tie on its way to a 4-1 win over Lamison, and then the Crimson Hawks picked up two early runs off Vevers in Game Two on their way to a 4-0 win.
