MALONEY WINS PSAC SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
LOCK HAVEN - Clarion University junior swimmer Jamie Maloney (York/Dallastown) is the inaugural female winner of the PSAC Sportsmanship Award.

The award is given to one male and one female student-athlete who best exemplifies the spirit of sportsmanship and who has demonstrated the values of respect and integrity through a specific action ideally directed toward an opponent. Nominees must also have represented his/her institution in a positive way during competition and must have demonstrated good citizenship outside of competition by fostering a good public image.

Kayla Kelosky - NCAA D-II Womens Diver of the Year

KELOSKY/HROVAT EARN NCAA D-II
(Houston, Texas): Clarion University sophomore diver Kayla Kelosky (Ellwood City - Riverside) was named the NCAA Division II Women's "Diver of the Year" and coach Dave Hrovat was named Women's Diving "Coach of the Year" following the NCAA Division II Nationals on Saturday night.

The D-II Nationals were held at the University of Houston's Wellness and Recreation Center and were part of the NCAA Division II Winter Sports Festival. The vote is done by all swimming and diving coaches at nationals and is sponsored by the CSCAA.

Kayla Kelosky - 1 & 3 Meter National Champion
3/14/09 - Women's Swimming
KELOSKY WINS 3 METER NATIONAL TITLE
(Houston, Texas): Clarion University sophomore diver Kayla Kelosky (Ellwood City - Riverside) won the 3 Meter Diving national title on Saturday, to go with the 1 Meter title she won on Thursday night, while Clarion finished in 7th place as a team at the NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving National Championships hosted at the University of Houston. Also held at the same venue, the Clarion Men's Swimming and Diving Team finished 13th in the D-II Men's competition.

Held at the University of Houston's Wellness and Recreation Center, and part of the NCAA Division II Winter Sports Festival, Drury won the women's team title with 618.5 points, Wayne State was second with 453.5, Cal San Diego third with 425 and Clarion seventh with 210.5 points.
