 LEUSCHEL 1-1 AT PSAC INDIVIDUALS (Bloomsburg): Clarion Women's Tennis player Kassie Leuschel was 1-1 over the weekend at the PSAC Individual Championships held at Bloomsburg. Leuschel, unseeded, defeated Lindsay Knappenberger (Millersville) 6-1, 6-2 in straight sets to advance to the second round. Against #2 seed Kayla Blackburn (SR), Leuschel won the first set 6-3, but lost the second 6-0 and the third set tie breaker 10-3. [+] CLARION NETTERS DEFEAT ST. VINCENT 7-2 The Clarion women's tennis team defeated St. Vincent Friday Oct. 10 at home. The final score was 7-2. The Golden Eagles are 4-1 on the fall season. [+]  CLARION'S METZGER 1-1 AT ITA REGIONALS (Bloomsburg): Clarion's Jaclyn Metzger went 1-1 in the "A" Singles division of the Wilson/ITA Atlantic Women's Tennis Regionals, which continued on Monday, but was delayed by inclement weather all weekend. The Regional, which was to start on Saturday and run through Monday's conclusion, was delayed by two days of bad weather. The remaining "B" singles and doubles matches were canceled today to finish the "A" singles and doubles. [+]
