![]() BRADY NAMED DAKTRONICS ALL-REGION LOCK HAVEN - Clarion University freshman Rhianon Brady has been named the second-team Daktronics NCAA Division II Volleyball Atlantic Region Libero. Brady (Winchester, Ohio/Canal) ranked second in the PSAC in digs per game (4.64) while finishing the season with 487 digs, the 13th most in school history and the second most among freshmen in school history. She added 27 service aces, 11 assists and one kill while helping Clarion to a 16-15 overall mark and a 5-7 mark in the PSAC-West. The Golden Eagles were in the chase for both a PSAC and NCAA D-II playoff berth in the final week of the season, and the winning record tied the school record for most consecutive winning seasons at eight. [+]![]() ANDRUSZ NAMED HM AVCA ALL-REGION LEXINGTON, Ky. - Clarion University sophomore middle hitter Nicole Andrusz was named a 2008 AVCA Honorable Mention All-Region selection in women's volleyball. Andrusz led the Golden Eagles in blocks with 73 (0.72 bpg) and was second on the team with 2.29 kills per game while recording 231 kills. She led the squad with a .255 hitting percentage (231 kills-79 errors-596 attempts) and added 22 service aces and 51 digs.
