SLIPPERY ROCK - A young Clarion University women's volleyball team just missed its second straight PSAC Playoff berth falling 3-1 at Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles (16-15 overall, 5-7 PSAC-West) needed a win over The Rock to claim one of the four playoff berths awarded to the PSAC-West but fell by scores of 18-25, 25-23, 23-25, 17-25.

Kellie Bartman led Clarion with 13 kills, while Nicole Andrusz added 12 kills and Leeann Higginbotham had 10 kills. Sarah Sheffield added nine kills and six blocks, while Amanda Stefanov had four kills and three blocks. Amanda Gough set up the offense with 41 set assists while adding 13 digs. Rhianon Brady added 18 digs.
